CCNA Routing e Switching – la nuova certificazione CCNA

Il 26 marzo 2013 Cisco aggiorna la certificazione CCNA alla versione 2.0  e la rinomina CCNA Routing e Switching per allinearla alla convenzione dei nomi degli altri percorsi formativi ( Data Center, Security, Service Provider, Service Provider Operations, Video, Voice, Wireless ).

Vengono introdotti nel CCNA RS argomenti nuovi come IOS 15, spostati dal CCNP RS OSPF Multi-area e un incrementata la parte riguardante il protocollo IPv6 e il troubleshooting, dopo il video un elenco completo dei cambiamenti.

Per ottenere la certificazione basta superare il solo esame 200-120 CCNA RS o entrambi gli esami 100-101 ICND1 e 200-101 ICND2. Tutti gli esami sono già disponibili presso i centri Pearson VUE.

I “vecchi esami”  640-802 CCNA, 640-822 ICND1 e 640-816 ICND2 rimangono attivi fino al 30 Settembre 2013, nel periodo intermedio si possono perciò sostenere una combinazioni di esami con i codici vecchi e nuovi. Cisco ho predisposto uno strumento online per capire quali esami portano alla certificazione Associate-Level Certifications Exam Logic Tool

La certificazione CCENT, che si ottiene con il solo esame 100-101 ICND1, diventa un pre-requisito per la certificazione CCDA, CCNA Security,CCNA Service Provider Operations, CCNA Voice, CCNA Wireless  dal 1 Ottobre 2013.
